Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and changing also promoting independence.
• Monitor patient health, noting activities and changes, reporting concerns promptly.
• Support medication administration.
• Help assist her with meals as well as dishes and clean up.
• Maintain a clean environment by performing tasks such as cleaning areas and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Use gaitbelt for mobility assistance.
• Provide emotional support through active communication, companionship, and engagement tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is helpful.
• Knowledge of patient with special need.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities supports.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
