Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Everlasting Love Home Care LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. Our mission is to provide exceptional in-home care that allows clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration).
• Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed.
• Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
• Accurately complete required documentation and timekeeping.
• Maintain client confidentiality and provide care with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current PCA Certificate, CNA License, or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and any required screenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans.
• Must be reliable, compassionate, patient, and professional.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Expected Hours: Based on client needs and employee availability.

License/Certification:

• PCA Certificate, CNA License, or HHA Certification (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Work Location: In clients' homes throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
