M.A.T.A LLC (Mindset Acquired Through Abilities) is hiring Personal Care Assistants to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential and host-home setting in Colorado Springs.

This is non-medical personal care. You will not perform skilled nursing, wound care, injections, catheter care, or any task that requires a nursing license. No CNA, LPN, or RN is required.

What you will do

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support meal planning, preparation, and household routines
• Follow each person’s support plan and document the supports you provide
• Help with community outings, appointments, and daily schedules
• Provide companionship and encourage independence in a respectful home setting
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report changes in health, behavior, or routine to your supervisor

Schedule and pay

• Full-time
• Starting at $21.00 per hour
• Colorado Springs area
• Two openings

What we are looking for

• Reliable, patient, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Able to follow a support plan and communicate clearly with the person, family, and team
• Willing to complete required training, including personal care, rights, and documentation
• Able to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred
• Prior experience with intellectual or developmental disabilities, personal care, caregiving, or residential support is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.
