We're Hiring an Experienced Female Support Worker – Cannington

We are seeking a compassionate, professional and reliable Female Support Worker to support a bed-bound participant in Cannington who requires personal care and hoist transfers.

The participant requires 2-person assistance, so confidence with personal care and hoist transfers is highly desirable.

Shift Times & Availability

• Morning shifts: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Evening shifts: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Fixed 14 hours per week
• Worker must be available for a minimum of 2 morning shifts and 2 evening shifts per week
• Thursday and Friday evening availability is essential
• Weekend shifts may be available, with applicable penalty rates

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality, person-centred support, including:

• Personal care
• Hoist transfers
• Assistance with daily living activities
• Community and emotional support where appropriate
• Accurate documentation and progress notes

Requirements

• Hoist transfer experience is highly desirable
• If you don't have hoist experience but are willing to learn, we can provide hoist training for the right candidate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• Comprehensive car insurance
• Excellent communication skills
