Personal Care Worker

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents
• Document care plans, patient observations, and progress notes accurately for ongoing care coordination

Requirements

• Prior experience working preferred, but will train.
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families
