Personal Driver

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Driver to join our team at Provident Fiduciaries Berhad. As a Personal Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Driving & Transportation

• Safely drive the COO to and from meetings, office locations, events, airports, and personal commitments.
• Ensure punctual arrival for all scheduled appointments by planning optimal routes.
• Monitor traffic, weather, and road conditions to adjust travel plans as needed.
• Provide assistance with loading and unloading luggage, documents, or equipment.

Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of the assigned vehicle (interior and exterior).
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled, serviced, and properly maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections and arrange any repairs or maintenance when necessary.
• Keep vehicle documents updated (insurance, registration, permits).

Schedule & Coordination

• Coordinate daily travel itinerary with the COO’s executive assistant.
• Manage last-minute schedule changes professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a log of daily travel routes, mileage, fuel usage, and expenses.

Professionalism & Confidentiality

• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding the COO’s business and personal matters.
• Maintain a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Handle sensitive situations with discretion and judgment.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a personal or executive driver
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic regulations
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work outside of regular business hours as needed
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
