PERSONAL DRIVER

Job Responsibilities

• Drive employer safely to and from required locations.
• Make sure employer arrives at the destination on time.
• Able and willing to travel between Kuantan and Kuala Lumpur on a weekly basis.
• Willing to travel outstation and stay overnight when required.
• Plan the best route and check traffic conditions before travelling.
• Keep the car clean and tidy at all times.
• Make sure the car is in good condition and ready to use.
• Check petrol, tyres, engine oil and other basic vehicle conditions.
• Send the car for service or repair when required.
• Assist with carrying bags, luggage or other items when needed.
• Run simple errands when requested by the employer.
• Follow the employer’s working schedule, including overtime, weekends or public holidays when necessary.
• Follow traffic rules and drive safely at all times.
• Keep all information about the employer, family and daily activities private and confidential.
• Carry out other related duties when required.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driving licence.
• Have experience as a Personal Driver, Company Driver or similar role.
• Good and safe driving record.
• Comfortable with long-distance driving, especially the Kuantan–Kuala Lumpur route.
• Able to travel to Kuala Lumpur from Kuantan every week.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel outstation when required.
• Familiar with using Waze and Google Maps.
• Punctual, responsible and trustworthy.
• Patient and careful when driving.
• Clean, neat and presentable.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic English is an advantage.
