Personal Driver c/w Bodyguard

About the role

A professional and highly skilled Personal Driver c/w Bodyguard is required to join our team in Johor Bahru District, Johor. This is a full-time position that combines transportation and security responsibilities, requiring a versatile professional who can provide safe, reliable driving services whilst maintaining the highest standards of personal protection and discretion. You will be responsible for transporting the assigned personnel to various locations whilst ensuring their safety and security at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic regulations and maintaining an excellent driving record
• Plan optimal routes to ensure timely arrivals at designated destinations
• Maintain the vehicle in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, servicing and safety checks
• Provide discrete and professional bodyguard services, including threat assessment and personal security measures
• Maintain vigilant awareness of surroundings and potential security risks during all transportation activities
• Communicate effectively with clients and relevant stakeholders regarding schedules, security concerns and route changes
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality and discretion protocols at all times
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established security protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of journeys, vehicle maintenance and any security incidents
• Ensure compliance with all applicable transport and security regulations

What we're looking for

• Valid and clean driving licence with a minimum of 5 years' professional driving experience
• Formal bodyguard or personal security training certification from a recognised institution
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Johor Bahru and surrounding areas
• Outstanding driving skills with a proven track record of safety and reliability
• Strong situational awareness and ability to identify potential security threats
• Professional demeanour, discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Physical fitness and ability to respond effectively in security situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work irregular hours and remain flexible with scheduling requirements
• Experience in VIP or executive protection is highly desirable
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting is advantageous
