Personal Support Assistant

Severn Healthcare is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Personal Assistant/Caregiver to provide direct care and personal support on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.
• Provide G-tube feeding and flushing in accordance with the individual's care plan and established procedures.
• Monitor the individual during and after G-tube feeding and report any concerns or changes in condition.
• Assist with medication reminders and other care-related tasks within the scope of certification and assignment.
• Prepare and assist with meals and maintain appropriate hydration.
• Provide companionship and support with daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow the individual's care plan, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
• Document care provided and communicate important observations to the appropriate supervisor/family member.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the individual's dignity, privacy, and independence.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification.
• Current CMT (Certified Medication Technician) certification.
• Demonstrated experience with G-tube feeding and flushing.
• Ability to safely provide hands-on personal care.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong communication, professionalism, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.

Schedule:

• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Ideal Candidate:
A dependable CNA/CMT who is comfortable providing hands-on personal care, has experience with G-tube feeding, and takes pride in providing safe, respectful, and compassionate support.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
