Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support clients with medication administration following prescribed instructions and safety protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
• Support clients with mobility exercises and assistive device use to promote independence

Requirements

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently and safely
• Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent recognized credential
• Experience working with individuals with special needs or complex health conditions is an asset

Pay: From $17.86 per hour

Work Location: In person
