Personal Support Worker (PSW)

What you’ll do:

• Provide personal care to patients (ie. Grooming, dressing, bathing, etc.)
• Travel from patient to patient
• Meal preparation
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-time
• Basic housekeeping duties
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their family
• Assist with personal hygiene care including showering and bathing
• Support for basic activities of daily living

Requirements

• Interested applicants must have a Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Must be a part of, or willing to join the Ontario Personal Support Workers Association
• Completion of Standard First Aid and CPR C
• Availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Previous related experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and clinical skills
• Able to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
• Complete Vulnerable Sector Check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
