Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols to ensure proper health management
• Support clients with meal preparation, nutritional needs, and feeding to maintain health and comfort
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment to promote hygiene and safety
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and foster positive social interactions
• Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
• Assist with mobility aids and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injuries

Skills

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes demonstrating familiarity with senior care environments
• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or those experiencing dementia or cognitive decline
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to follow medication administration procedures accurately and responsibly
• Knowledge of home care practices including cleaning routines, meal preparation, and basic first aid
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, or assisting clients with mobility

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
