Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Job Summary:

As a PSW, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility. You will help clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life by assisting with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming (bathing, dressing, toileting)

• Support with mobility and transfers

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with meal preparation and feeding

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior

• Follow care plans and document client progress

• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and family membersQualifications:

• PSW certificate from a recognized institution

• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)

• Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening

• Up-to-date immunization record (including TB testing, if required)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (if applicable for home care roles)

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
