Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized workout plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and fitness levels
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including biomechanics, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and body mechanics to inform program development
• Deliver engaging group fitness classes and one-on-one coaching sessions that motivate clients and foster a positive environment
• Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, manual handling, nutrition basics, and injury prevention strategies such as first aid and CPR procedures
• Build strong client rapport through effective communication, active listening, and personalized coaching that boosts motivation and accountability
• Maintain accurate records of client progress, session notes, and program adjustments while ensuring compliance with liability insurance standards
• Promote fitness industry services including personal training packages, group classes, and wellness programs to support business growth

Experience

• Proven experience in sports coaching or personal training within a health club or gym setting
• Knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for safe and effective program design
• Hands-on experience with fitness sales, client communication, customer service excellence, and program promotion
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation required; first aid certification preferred
• Experience teaching physical education or group fitness classes highly desirable
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe manual handling practices necessary for client safety
• Prior work experience in the fitness industry or health club environment that demonstrates professionalism and dedication

Pay: $31.26 - $37.65 per hour
