Personal Trainer

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join the Like fit team in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of our members through personalised fitness guidance, expert coaching, and motivational support. As a Personal Trainer, you will be at the heart of our fitness community, delivering exceptional training services that help clients achieve their health and wellness goals whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial fitness assessments and consultations with new clients to understand their goals, fitness levels, and any health concerns
• Design customised workout programmes tailored to individual client needs, fitness levels, and objectives
• Deliver high-quality personal training sessions, providing expert instruction on proper exercise technique and form
• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust training programmes accordingly to ensure continued improvement
• Provide nutritional guidance and lifestyle advice to support clients' overall wellness journey
• Maintain a safe and hygienic training environment, ensuring all equipment is used correctly and safely
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and motivational support
• Promote Like fit's services and membership packages to potential and existing clients
• Stay current with fitness trends, training methodologies, and industry best practices through continuous professional development

What we're looking for

• Recognised personal training certification from a reputable fitness organisation (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a Personal Trainer in a fitness facility or gym environment
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, human anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential
• Ability to design and implement safe, effective, and engaging workout programmes
• Professional appearance and demeanour consistent with fitness industry standards
• Physical fitness and stamina to demonstrate exercises and work with diverse client populations
• Passion for fitness, health, and wellness with a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals
• Preferred experience in group fitness classes, nutrition coaching, or specialised training (e.g., strength training, functional fitness)
