Personal Trainer

About the role

The Personal Trainer is responsible for delivering professional fitness coaching, developing personalised training programmes, and supporting members in achieving their fitness goals while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and identify members' individual fitness goals.
• Develop and implement personalised exercise programmes based on members' needs and abilities.
• Deliver personal training sessions and provide guidance on proper exercise techniques.
• Monitor members' progress and adjust training programmes to support continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Promote personal training services and achieve assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional gym environment.
• Ensure fitness equipment is used appropriately and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Participate in club activities, promotional campaigns, and other operational duties as assigned by management.

• Strong interest in fitness, health, and wellness.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Ability to motivate and engage members from diverse fitness backgrounds.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Relevant fitness qualifications or certifications (advantage).
• Previous experience in personal training or the fitness industry (added advantage).
