Role Description The Personal Training Director is a full-time, on-site role based at a Crunch Fitness location in Nashville, TN. This role oversees all aspects of the personal training department, including managing and mentoring personal trainers, scheduling sessions, and ensuring high-quality training programs that align with Crunch Fitness standards. The Personal Training Director is responsible for driving personal training revenue, maintaining high member engagement and retention, and monitoring performance metrics for the training team. Daily activities include coaching staff on program design and customer service, conducting member consultations and fitness assessments, developing group training and specialty programs, and collaborating with club leadership on marketing and promotions. The role requires active presence on the training floor, clear communication with members and staff, and adherence to company policies, safety standards, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Personal Training and Training, including designing and delivering safe, effective, and goal-oriented fitness programs.
• Experience leading or coordinating Group Training sessions and group fitness programs to enhance member engagement and participation.
• Certified or eligible for certification through the U.S. National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or an equivalent nationally recognized organization.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, address concerns, and create a welcoming, results-focused environment.
• Previous leadership or management experience in a fitness or health club setting, including supervising and developing training staff.
• Solid knowledge of exercise science, program periodization, and safe training techniques for diverse populations and fitness levels.
• Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-energy environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including peak club hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• CPR/AED certification and commitment to maintaining all required professional credentials.
