Full Job Description

Get Fitness is seeking an energetic, results-driven Training Manager to lead our personal training department and help members achieve life-changing results.

This position combines leadership, personal training, sales, and member engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by performance-based earning opportunities.

As Training Manager, you will be responsible for growing the personal training department, conducting fitness consultations, delivering personal training sessions, and helping create an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments and goal-setting appointments
• Recommend and sell personal training programs
• Perform one-on-one personal training sessions
• Develop member fitness programs and track progress
• Recruit, train, and mentor personal trainers
• Monitor training department performance and retention
• Follow up with prospective and current training clients
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Help drive monthly training revenue goals
• Promote training services throughout the club

Compensation

This position offers multiple income streams:

Base Pay

A temporary base pay is provided during the onboarding and ramp-up period to support a successful transition into the role. As the Training Manager builds their client base and training revenue, the base pay gradually phases out.

Additional Earnings

• Pay for completed personal training sessions
• Commissions on personal training sales
• Monthly performance bonuses based on department goals and key performance indicators

Top performers have significant earning potential through training production, sales performance, and department growth.

QualificationsRequired

• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire others
• Sales confidence and ability to build client relationships
• Reliable transportation

Preferred

• Previous fitness management experience
• Personal training sales experience
• CPR/AED Certification
• Proven track record of achieving goals
