Casual Personal Trainer | Corio

This is a casual personal trainer role with Jamie Fitness in Corio, coaching clients one-to-one. You build your ongoing client base over time, so it does not come with a ready-made book of clients or guaranteed full-time hours.

What it pays

This is a casual position with super and applicable commission on top. Your hourly rate increases as your ongoing weekly client hours grow:

• Up to 25 client hours per week: $40.17 per hour
• 25 to 30 client hours per week: $45 per hour
• 30 or more client hours per week: $55 per hour
• Availability needed
• Four afternoons or evenings each week, about 3pm to 8.30pm
• Two mornings each week
• These are the times you must be available; they are not guaranteed paid hours.

What you will need

Cert IV in Fitness, or be close to completing it. Current First Aid, CPR and a Working with Children Check will be needed when you start.

No gym rent is charged. Jamie Fitness handles marketing and administrative support.

Your responsibilities

• Take part in mentoring and team workshops.
• Follow the team's coaching and administrative systems.
• Coach clients in one-to-one sessions.
• Explain the training offer to people thinking about starting.
