Pest Control Supervisor

About the Role:

The Pest Control Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and managing pest control operations to ensure safe, effective, and compliant service delivery across residential, commercial sites. This position is responsible for leading a team of pest control technicians, coordinating schedules, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies. The supervisor will conduct inspections, evaluate pest control needs, and develop strategic treatment plans to mitigate pest-related issues efficiently. Additionally, the role involves field training and mentoring field technicians to maintain high-quality service and promote continuous improvement in pest management techniques. Ultimately, the Pest Control Supervisor ensures customer satisfaction through effective pest control solutions while maintaining a safe working environment for the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid pest control applicator license as required by PA state regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pest control, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of pest biology, control methods, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret labels, safety data sheets, and regulatory guidelines.
• Client communication and deescalation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Public speaking and ability to provide training lessons in classroom setting.
• Experience with integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
• Familiarity with computerized scheduling and reporting software.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• 3rd party AIB/SQF compliance
• Food handling establishments and CGMP
• Associate degree or higher in entomology, environmental science, or related field

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pest control technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to assess pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods.
• Develop and implement pest management plans tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to pesticide use and safety protocols.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate pest control staff to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and customer interactions.
• Manage inventory of pest control products and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve service issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Collaborate with Service and Branch manager to improve operational processes and implement best practices.
