Pest Control Technician
Location: Maitland & Upper Hunter Region, NSW Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per annum

Our client is a well established provider of pest management services across the Hunter Valley and is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join their growing team. This field based role involves delivering pest management solutions across commercial and industrial sites while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pest inspections and treatment services.
• Identify pest activity and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
• Complete service reports and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain equipment, chemicals, and company vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
• Adhere to all WHS policies, procedures, and site requirements.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company and industry standards.

Skills & Experience

• Current NSW Pesticide Licence.
• Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (or equivalent).
• Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence.
• White Card.
• Previous experience in a pest control technician role.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads effectively.
• Professional presentation and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
• Experience working within commercial, industrial, or high-compliance environments.
• Experience working across multiple sites and managing a regional service area.
