Pest Control Technician

Job Overview

Leadtech Pest Services is looking for dependable and motivated Pest Control Technicians to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest activity, performing treatments, and helping customers prevent future pest problems.

This is a hands-on position that involves working independently at residential and commercial properties throughout Indiana. The job requires attention to detail, good communication with customers, safe handling of pest-control products, and the ability to work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.

We provide the training and support needed to learn the job and develop your skills in the pest-control industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes, businesses, and other properties for signs of pest activity, damage, and potential entry points.
• Identify common pests and determine the appropriate treatment or control method.
• Perform pest-control services using approved products, equipment, and techniques.
• Apply treatments safely and according to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Treat common pest issues such as ants, roaches, spiders, rodents, wasps, and other nuisance pests.
• Perform preventative pest-control services to help reduce the chance of future infestations.
• Safely operate and maintain pest-control equipment and company vehicles.
• Communicate with customers before, during, and after service and explain treatment recommendations when necessary.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous, reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• We prefer someone with experience in customer service and someone who is certified and licensed in the State of Indiana but not required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work, as required.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working inside homes, businesses, crawl spaces, basements, attics, and outdoors when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain any pest-control licensing or certifications required by the State of Indiana.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
