What do our Pest Control Technicians do?

The main objective of this position is to deliver top-tier pest management services to both apartment complexes and residential clients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive inspections to identify and assess pest infestations in apartment complexes properties, implementing suitable treatments such as pesticides ,IPM and offering preventive strategies to avert future issues. This role also requires strict compliance with safety regulations and effective communication with clients regarding pest control options.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment. Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm their appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers
• Ensure that all pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
• Drive and safely operate a company provided service vehicle (we provide routine maintenance)

Essential Job Functions:

• Working in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageway.
• You'll sometimes be working around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals, and we'll train you how to handle all of these conditions safely
• Able to work both inside and outside in your local climate in company-provided weather gear
• Lots of moving around - regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• You'll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator

What do you need?

• We are seeking a Pest Control Service Technician to independently serve residential properties, commercial properties, and apartment complexes. This role focuses on general pest control, rodent control, and inspections while managing dispatcher-assigned routes and delivering knowledgeable, professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pest inspections and identify infestations across residential, commercial, and apartment properties.
• Apply treatments for general pest and rodent control in accordance with safety requirements.
• Educate customers on treatment processes and infestation-prevention practices.
• Complete accurate service documentation for each assignment.
• Follow EPA safety standards and established pesticide-handling procedures.
• Maintain pest-control equipment and supplies.
• Perform follow-up visits and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Manage dispatcher-assigned routes while working independently in the field.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in pest control services.
• Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management principles.
• Experience with pesticide handling and EPA safety standards.
• Proficiency in pest identification and service documentation.
• Ability to plan and manage service routes.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
