Pest Control Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting customers premises for signs of pests, identifying pest problems and implementing effective pest management solutions. Duties:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and determine the appropriate treatment plans

• Apply pesticides and other pest management solutions safely and effectively according to company guidelines and regulatory standards

• Set traps and seal entry points to prevent pests from returning

• Communicate with clients to explain the treatment process, answer questions, and provide recommendations for preventing future infestations.

• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including reports of treatments and follow-up visits.

• Stay updated on the latest pest control methods, products, and industry regulations.

• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies

• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for use.

• Drive company vehicles to client locations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pest control preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training

• Valid pest control technician license or willingness to obtain one (company may assist with certification)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physical ability to handle equipment and access various work environments, including attics and crawl spaces

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
