Pest Control Technician

Applied Sciences Pest Group is a growing Extermination company serving the Charleston area. We are seeking a dependable and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help protect homes and businesses by providing effective pest control services while delivering excellent customer care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and determine treatment needs
• Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively using approved products, tools, and equipment
• Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and best practices for maintaining pest-free environments
• Maintain accurate service records, treatment reports, and customer notes
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pest control equipment as needed
• Drive company vehicles to service locations while following all safety and traffic regulations
• Provide professional, friendly customer service during each visit

Qualifications & Skills

• Pest control experience is preferred but not required — we will train the right candidate
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
