Pest Control Technician & Sales Representative

Pay: $23–$40 per hour, based on current licensing a relevant experience, attitude, and performance.

Current pesticide applicator license required.

Dr. Eco at Cascade Tree Works is hiring a licensed Pest Control Technician to serve residential and commercial customers.

This position combines hands-on pest control, and customer education. You’ll inspect properties, perform treatments, explain your findings, and recommend services that fit each customer’s needs.

We believe good sales start with a thorough inspection and an honest conversation. We’re looking for someone who earns trust, solves problems, and follows through.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for pest activity, entry points, and conditions that attract pests.
• Perform treatments within your licensing and training, following product labels, company procedures, and applicable requirements.
• Explain inspection findings, treatment options, and prevention steps clearly.
• Recommend and sell appropriate pest control services based on documented customer needs.
• Follow up on estimates, answer questions, and help customers choose suitable service plans.
• Maintain accurate inspection notes, treatment records, photos, and customer updates.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, application equipment, and tools.
• Manage your daily schedule and communicate with the office.
• Work outdoors in changing weather while following safe work practices.

Required Qualifications

• A current pesticide applicator license appropriate for the pest control work performed. Applicants must already be licensed to be considered.
• A valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Knowledge of pest identification, pesticide application, and integrated pest management.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort explaining recommendations, discussing pricing, and asking for the sale.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Experience

• Residential or commercial pest control.
• Sales of pest control or other home services.
• Mobile scheduling, customer management, or field service software.
