Pest Control Technician (Per Call / Hourly, Contract)

Job Type: Contract, Part-time, On-call

Pay: $40.00 per hour (per-call jobs available)

About Us
Birdhouse Management is a property management company serving residential rentals on Cleveland's east side. We're looking for a reliable, licensed pest control professional to handle service calls across our properties.

What You'll Do
You'll respond to pest service requests at single-family and small multifamily rental properties in the 44108, 44110, and 44120 zip codes. Work includes inspecting units, identifying infestations (roaches, bed bugs, rodents, ants, and similar), applying treatments safely in occupied homes, sealing entry points, and documenting findings with photos and short notes so we can follow up with tenants. You'll coordinate access with our team and communicate professionally with residents.

What We're Looking For
A valid Ohio Department of Agriculture commercial pesticide applicator license (or work under a licensed operator), at least 1 year of residential pest control experience, reliable transportation, your own equipment and supplies, a smartphone for scheduling and photo reports, and comfort working in occupied rental units. Bed bug and rodent experience is a strong plus.

Pay & Schedule
You'll be paid $40/hour, with flat per-call rates available for standard treatments. Work is flexible and on-call, with steady volume across our portfolio. Same-week availability is preferred.

How to Apply
Apply through Indeed with your resume, license number, and a brief note on your experience and availability.
