Golden Hour Pest is a locally owned, family-operated pest control company serving Northeast Florida. We’re a small but growing company focused on doing things differently-providing exceptional customer service, taking pride in our work, and creating a more personal experience for our clients.

We’re looking for a Technician / Inside Sales Representative to join our team and play an important role in helping us grow. This is a unique hybrid position that combines field experience with sales and customer communication. You’ll spend time supporting our service team in the field while also working from the office to connect with prospective customers and grow our client base.

What You’ll Do

Field – approximately 30%

• Support the operator on residential and commercial service routes
• Conduct inspections to identify pest activity, conducive conditions, and entry points
• Apply pest control products safely and effectively according to label requirements and company protocols
• Educate customers on pest prevention and integrated pest management
• Provide a professional, friendly customer experience at every service
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all safety protocols, including ladder safety, respiratory protection, and confined-space procedures
• Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly

Inside Sales – approximately 70%

• Make 75+ outbound calls per day to prospective and existing customers
• Follow up with leads through phone calls, email, and SMS
• Understand customers' needs and recommend the appropriate pest control solution
• Clearly explain our services, pricing, and benefits
• Build relationships with prospective customers and confidently close new service agreements
• Follow up consistently with leads and opportunities
• Maintain accurate lead and sales activity in our CRM
• Work closely with the ownership and operations team to help grow the business

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience as a pest control ID card holder
• Working knowledge of pest control practices and pesticide application
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable making frequent outbound sales calls and asking for the business
• Confident speaking with homeowners and building rapport quickly
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your time effectively
• Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Southside Jacksonville
Work Setting: Approximately 70% office / 30% field

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
