We are currently on the look-out for a Pest Controller. This position will be responsible for Rodent and Insect control on our Central Victorian sites.

Our successful applicant will be very reliable and able to organise their own work duties.

We are looking for:

• Ability to take instruction and then head out to sites and manage your own work duties responsibly.

• Demonstrated ability to get along with people of all backgrounds and roles within the company.

• Positive communication skills.

• Literacy to the level that you can add readable comments to reports.

• A reasonable level of computer competency.

• Willingness and ability to engage in technical training for the role.

• A flexible approach to duties for a rotating site roster.

• Task focused with a common-sense approach and good work ethic.

• Someone who will execute safety into all activities.

Experience with Pest Control will be highly advantageous.

This role is a full-time, salaried position. An on-site vehicle, uniform and equipment will ensure that you are not out of pocket for expenses. The vehicle will remain on site at the end of each day.

General requirements:

• You must have full right to work in Australia.

• SBA has strict biosecurity requirements to protect our flocks from diseases. Employees cannot keep birds or pigs at their place of residence or live with someone working in these industries.

• The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory pre-employment medical before commencement.

• A current, Victorian driver’s licence is required for this role
