Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
• Apply pesticides and chemical agents following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access difficult areas safely and efficiently
• Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each situation to ensure long-term pest control solutions
• Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all driving safety regulations and company policies
• Perform confined space entry safety procedures when working in restricted or hazardous environments
• Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, pest activity reports, and safety compliance documentation

Skills

• Strong knowledge of pest control methods, pesticide application techniques, and chemical handling procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders, farm machinery, and lawn care equipment
• Familiarity with entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend appropriate treatments
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and safety measures
• Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously, including respiratory protection use and confined space entry procedures
• Experience in outdoor work environments such as farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely
