Ascending Pets is a pet cremation and keepsakes company in Lehi, serving Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Summit counties. We started because this moment deserves more dignity and care. We believe that pets deserve a better goodbye. When the goodbye matters, pet owners call Ascending Pets.

Families come to us when a pet dies at home, when they choose in-home euthanasia, or through one of our partner vet clinics. One call, and we handle the rest. We explain every step, bring their pet home in days instead of weeks, and help them keep their pet close with keepsakes made from their own paw or nose print.

The job

• How do we make the handoff at the door feel calm and safe for a family on their worst day?
• How do we treat every pet with dignity, from the first call to the day they come home?
• How do we keep every record exact, so a family always knows the ashes they get back belong to their pet?

What you’ll do

• Pickups: Drive our company van to family homes and partner clinics to bring pets into our care
• The handoff: Talk families through what happens next, in plain and kind words
• Gentle care: Handle, tag, and identify each pet with dignity
• Records: Keep careful records from pickup to return
• Cremations: Run cremations following our procedures exactly
• Keepsakes: Make ceramic paw prints and prepare keepsakes
• Bringing them home: Return ashes and keepsakes to families and clinics with patience and care

Who you are

• Warm: Calm and kind with grieving people
• Comfortable with the work: At ease caring for pets after they’ve died
• Steady: People count on you to show up and follow through
• Careful: Detail-minded and able to follow procedures exactly
• Plainspoken: You explain things in simple, honest words
• Road ready: 18 or older, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Physically able: On your feet most of the day, and able to handle occasional heavy lifting
• Proven: You have a track record of great work at a job, in school, in sports, or in hobbies. Vet tech, kennel, shelter, funeral service, or delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
