Pet Food Production Manager

We are seeking a diligent, high-energy Pet Food Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in premium pet food production—specifically raw, freeze-dried, and dehydrated dog treats—alongside strong technical skills in equipment maintenance and team leadership.If you thrive in a high-paced environment, have a stellar work ethic, and possess a strong blend of technical, nutritional, and leadership skills, we want you on our team.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and manage the daily operations of the production team.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality control, and production schedules.
• Maintain an efficient, high-paced workflow while fostering a positive team environment.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Oversee and perform hands-on maintenance for specialized production equipment, including Vario-Vac packaging machines, meat mixers, and air compressors.
• Manage the upkeep, temperature monitoring, and troubleshooting of walk-in freezers.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials, inventory, and equipment throughout the plant.

Operations & Physical Requirements

• Safely and repeatedly lift heavy boxes and production materials as needed.
• Manage raw ingredient inventory and final product packaging workflows.

Job RequirementsExperience & Technical Skills

• Proven track record as a Plant Manager or Operations Supervisor in a food or pet food manufacturing facility.
• Specialized expertise in processing raw food, freeze-dried, and dehydrated pet treats.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining food production machinery.
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to re-certify immediately).
• Ability to drive a refrigerated truck.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
