Defuzzer’s Pet Grooming is expanding! We operate out of a cozy, specialized 11x9 shop setup dedicated to calm, high-end, 1-on-1 care. Because we prioritize personal attention over assembly-line volume, you’ll have the space, time, and focus to give every client top-tier service. ​

What We’re Looking For: ​Hands-on Experience: Comfortable with bathing, drying, prep work, and basic handling. ​

Gentle Handling: Patience and compassion are mandatory—we specialize in low-stress, fear-free handling techniques.

​Dependability & Detail: Ability to work efficiently in a compact, organized workspace.

​Client-Focused: Professional, friendly demeanor with pet owners. ​

Basically I am looking for someone who is wanting to learn more, build their own client list, and help this little baby shop grow into more.

Ideal candidate is Your Average mid-tier groomer, who has at least 2 years of experience grooming dogs straight through on their own . Has their own Clippers and scissors and personal tools . I have a ton of stuff in the shop as well .

You have to love this in your soul and want every single pet on your table to have the best experience possible and you want to actually make money while doing it . You have to want to make your Client List and build rapport with them , and you have to be chill enough to work on a team in a small environment . We try to cultivate as much happy and healthy as we can as we grow.

​ looking for a 10:00 to 6:00 ish groomer who wants to do about 4 to 5 dogs a day , Saturdays and Sundays here or there.

Bonus points if you can help keep an extra eye on the baby groomer and apprentice in Training. You will only have as much Hands-On in training others as you would like but the opportunities are endless.

​​ It is my small business and we can balance commission on Ability to build a client list and depending on your commitment to building with us . Understanding I'll do my best to build your schedule on my end as well and this industry comes in waves sometimes.

I've personally groomed since 2017. The Shop has been open since 2022.

Pay: $80.00 - $250.00 per day
