About the Role

Are you passionate about protecting consumer trust, elevating food safety standards, and shaping the future of the pet food industry?

We are seeking an exceptional Pet Quality Director to lead quality excellence across our OEM wet pet food manufacturing business. This is a highly visible executive leadership role responsible for ensuring every product delivered to global customers is safe, compliant, and of the highest quality.

As the most senior quality leader within the organization, you will oversee the entire quality ecosystem, spanning manufacturing quality, food safety, regulatory affairs, supplier quality, customer quality management, and consumer experience. You will work directly with executive leadership, major international customers, regulatory authorities, and suppliers to build a world-class quality culture that protects pets, strengthens customer confidence, and drives sustainable business growth.

What You'll Lead

You will provide strategic leadership across five critical quality functions:

Plant Quality

Drive quality assurance across all manufacturing operations, ensuring robust process controls, laboratory excellence, HACCP compliance, and world-class product release systems.

Pet Business Unit Quality Management

Own the Quality Management System (QMS), certification programs, internal audits, CAPA governance, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Food Law & Regulatory Affairs

Lead regulatory compliance across domestic and international markets, ensuring products meet all labeling, registration, and legal requirements.

Supplier Quality Assurance

Build and strengthen supplier quality programs to ensure raw materials and packaging consistently meet food safety and quality expectations.

Quality Customer Experience

Serve as the quality ambassador to global OEM customers, leading audit readiness, complaint management, quality performance reviews, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety Leadership

• Serve as the highest food safety authority within the organization.
• Lead HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and Food Safety Management Systems.
• Manage product recalls, crisis situations, and food safety incidents.
• Foster a strong food safety culture throughout the organization.

Strategic Quality Management

• Define and execute the long-term quality strategy.
• Maintain FSSC 22000 and BRC certifications at the highest standards.
• Drive quality performance through analytics, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
• Reduce defects, waste, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

Regulatory & Compliance Excellence

• Ensure compliance with Thai FDA requirements and international regulations.
• Lead product registrations, label approvals, and regulatory submissions.
• Monitor evolving global regulations impacting OEM export markets.

Customer Quality Leadership

• Build trusted partnerships with global OEM customers.
• Lead customer audits and quality reviews.
• Ensure fast, transparent, and effective complaint resolution.
• Deliver performance reporting that strengthens customer confidence.

Supplier Quality Governance

• Develop a world-class supplier qualification and audit program.
• Manage supplier performance and risk assessment.
• Strengthen traceability, specification management, and ingredient compliance.

Organizational Leadership

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary quality organization.
• Build future quality leaders and succession pipelines.
• Promote collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams.

What We're Looking For

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Veterinary Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Experience

• 15+ years in quality management within food, pet food, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries.
• 5+ years leading large quality organizations at Director or Senior Leadership level.
• Strong experience in food safety systems, quality certifications, regulatory affairs, and customer quality management.
• Experience supporting global customers and international regulatory requirements.
