Job Summary
Your Pet's Paradise are seeking a new Pet Sitter to provide care for pets in the pet's homes while owners are away.

The role is an ad-hoc role and can be tailored to your availability. The role will mainly be in Stamford, Market Deeping, Bourne, Peterborough and surrounding areas.

The role could suit a variety of people, including someone who works from home and is happy to work from other people's homes, whilst caring for their pets, someone who is retired or someone studying.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to manage various pet-related tasks while ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets in their care. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and excellent customer service skills to build strong relationships with pet owners.

Duties

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking and administering medication as needed.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets while their owners are away.
• Maintain a clean environment for the pets, including cleaning litter boxes, cages, and any messes.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and any concerns that may arise during care.
• Monitor the health and behaviour of pets and report any unusual signs to the owners or a veterinary professional if required.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in animal care is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
• Knowledge of basic animal behaviour and care practices is an advantage.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: Up to £800.00 per month
