What they need
Job Summary: Responsible for performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) to assess patients’ lung function and assist physicians in diagnosing respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PFT procedures, including spirometry, lung volume, and diffusion capacity tests.
- Prepare patients and explain testing procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain PFT equipment.
- Record test results accurately and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
Qualification: Diploma or B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or a relevant paramedical field.
Experience: 2–6 years; hospital experience preferred.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of pulmonary function testing procedures.
- Equipment handling and basic troubleshooting.
- Patient communication and infection control.
