Job Description: PRT Computer Teacher

Position: Primary Teacher (Computer)
Department: Academics
Level: Primary School
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Teach basic computer concepts and digital skills to primary-level students.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and practical computer exercises.
• Conduct engaging, age-appropriate computer lab sessions.
• Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet safety, typing, basic coding, and digital literacy.
• Assess students through classwork, practical activities, tests, and projects.
• Maintain students’ academic records and provide regular feedback.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of computers and other IT equipment.
• Promote safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology.
• Participate in school events, meetings, training programs, and other academic activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Graduate degree with B.Ed./equivalent teaching qualification; BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Tech/BE (CS/IT), or related qualification preferred.
• Experience: Freshers may apply; prior teaching experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and classroom-management skills.
• Basic proficiency in computers and educational technology.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Ability to explain technical concepts simply to young children.
• Good lesson-planning and presentation skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a child-friendly approach.
• Ability to use smart boards and digital teaching tools.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
