PGT - Economics Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Economics lessons according to the prescribed board curriculum.
• Teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development and Statistics.
• Conduct regular revision sessions and mock examinations.
• Analyse past examination papers and prepare students for board examinations.
• Prepare question papers, assignments and assessments.
• Evaluate answer scripts and maintain accurate academic records.
• Maintain an interactive, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in PTMs and provide feedback on academic and behavioural development.
• Support academic fairs, inter-school competitions, departmental meetings and other school activities.
• Use smart boards, digital classroom tools and modern teaching aids effectively.

Key Requirements

• Master's Degree in Economics (M.A./M.Sc.) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. is strictly mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Economics at PGT/Senior Secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Statistics.
• Knowledge of Indian economic development and current economic developments.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in modern teaching aids and digital classroom tools.
