12 Month Contract - Cork

This role involves supporting the preparation and execution of technical documentation to ensure manufacturing facilities, systems, equipment, and utilities are verified and maintained in a compliant, qualified state.

Working alongside Project Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations, you will support documentation workflows, protocol lifecycle management, and field-based verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation & Technical Writing: Generate, update, and review C&Q protocols and reports, including Mechanical Completion, Installation Verification (IV), Operational Verification (OV), Risk Assessments, and Summary Reports following established site templates.
• Standards & Compliance Alignment: Ensure documentation aligns with internal quality procedures, safety/environmental standards, and industry guidelines (e.g., ISPE).
• Field Verification: Support on-site Installation Verification (IV) activities, including walking down piping and equipment installations to confirm alignment with approved P&IDs.
• Protocol & Discrepancy Tracking: Maintain C&Q tracking logs, assist protocol executors with day-to-day documentation queries, and drive open discrepancies to timely closure.
• Systems & Records Management: Update technical records in the Engineering Data Management System (EDMS) and assist with the archiving of completed packages into the site library.
• Audit & Team Support: Participate in project team meetings, assist with training material preparation, and support internal and third-party audit readiness activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical writing capability and comfort reading P&IDs.
• Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, strong organization skills, and the ability to work independently or within multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Systems: Familiarity with site data management tools or C&Q software systems is advantageous.
• Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
