Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate drug, dosage, interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medicines, and inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
• Check medicines for expiry dates, quality, and packaging.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
• Follow pharmacy laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Handle customer/patient queries professionally.
• Support procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), as applicable.
• Valid pharmacist registration/licence as required by local regulations.
• Good knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, drug interactions, and pharmacy practices.

Experience:
