Pharmacist

• Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and doctor’s orders.
• Check medicine name, strength, dose, quantity, batch number, and expiry date before dispensing.
• Ensure the right medicine is given to the right patient in the correct dose and quantity.
• Maintain proper stock of medicines and pharmacy consumables.
• Monitor minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder levels.
• Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) and FIFO methods.
• Check and arrange medicines properly according to storage requirements.
• Conduct regular checks for near-expiry and expired medicines.
• Segregate expired, damaged, and returned medicines and maintain proper records.
• Maintain daily stock records for medicine receipt, issue, return, and adjustments.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
• Maintain refrigerator temperature and other required storage temperature records.
• Ensure proper storage and documentation of controlled/high-risk medicines as per hospital policy.
• Process and issue medicines against approved ward/department indents.
• Check and replenish emergency/crash-cart medicines when assigned.
• Verify prescriptions and clarify any doubtful prescription with the concerned doctor.
• Label medicines properly and provide necessary medicine-use instructions.
• Report medication errors, adverse drug reactions, stock shortages, and other safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain all pharmacy registers, records, and documents properly.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, stores, accounts, and hospital management.
• Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and maintained according to hospital standards.
• Support internal audits, inspections, and quality requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Follow all hospital policies, pharmacy procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Perform any other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the Pharmacy In-Charge or Management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
