Pharmacist

About the role

WellAway is seeking a pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations. The candidate will be leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure medications are dispensed in a safe and efficient manner. As a pharmacist, the candidate is also responsible to provide medication-related information to prescribers and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee processing of prescriptions or medication orders
• Provide patient counselling and education
• Lead and guide pharmacy technician(s)
• Ongoing review and fine-tuning of existing workflows and platform to align and optimize standards and guidelines to best practices
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure the systems, workflow and documentation are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards
• Training and mentoring interns as needed
• Picking, handling and appropriate control of Controlled Drugs
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of Controlled Drugs as per regulatory and licensing requirements
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management

About you

• Degree in Pharmacy and registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Entrepreneurial and has an inquisitive mind
• Proficient in the use of modern technology
• Thrives in fast paced, startup-like environment
• Comfortable leading a team independently
• Immediate availability is preferred
