About the role
The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing and management of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies for both inpatients and outpatients.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process prescriptions
- Provide medication counseling and drug information
- Monitor medication inventory and expiration dates
- Ensure proper storage of medicines
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote the safe and rational use of medications
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulatory requirements
