Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Dispensing Medications: Accurately preparing, packaging, and labeling prescriptions written by doctors or other health providers.
• Patient Counseling: Explaining correct dosages, administration methods, potential side effects, and safe storage.
• Safety Checks: Reviewing patient medical histories and current drug use to prevent harmful drug interactions and allergies.
• Clinical Support: Partnering with physicians and nurses to monitor, evaluate, and optimize patient treatment plans.
• Health Services: Administering vaccinations (such as flu shots) and performing basic wellness screenings like blood pressure checks.
• Operations & Management: Overseeing pharmacy technicians, managing inventory, and maintaining legal compliance with medical regulations.

Pharmacist Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Experience- 3 to 10 yrs
• Work location- Guduvancheri, Chennai

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
