Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on medication use, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Duties

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with legal and professional standards
• Provide comprehensive medication counselling to patients, including usage instructions and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
• Monitor patient responses to medication and adjust prescriptions as necessary in consultation with prescribing physicians
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all dispensed medications and patient interactions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and organisational policies
• Oversee the storage, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals safely and efficiently
• Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health management strategies
• Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice

Requirements

• Current GPHC Registration
• Experience working in a community pharmacy setting
