Duties

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all legal and safety standards.
• Provide expert consultation to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to promote safe medication practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and review personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed in accordance with medical guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories to ensure compliance and accountability.
• Educate patients on medication adherence, storage, and disposal to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Skills

• Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings, with a strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations.
• Hands-on experience with pediatric medication management and patient care for diverse age groups.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice and clinical documentation.
• Expertise in medication administration procedures within a healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to ongoing learning to stay abreast of evolving pharmaceutical standards and innovations.
• Fillware experience preferred
