Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our Jones Drugs pharmacy team in the role of PIC. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. This position requires attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Dispense medications accurately while providing patient counseling on proper usage.
• Monitor patient medication therapy for safety and efficacy, making recommendations as necessary.
• Manage inventory effectively, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in critical care settings to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on medication management, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Experience

• Proven ability to manage pharmacy inventory efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
