Pharmacist

About the role

The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, compounding pharmaceutical preparations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role supports patient care by promoting safe, effective, and rational drug use.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately
• Review and interpret physician orders to ensure proper dosage and administration
• Compound and prepare medications (e.g., ointments, capsules, solutions) according to professional standards
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Monitor and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and pharmacy laws
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Conduct quality checks on medications and supplies
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs

About you

• Must be a Licensed Pharmacist with a valid PRC license
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Experience in compounding or preparing medications is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and dosage requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
