Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper use, potential side effects, and interactions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to optimise medication therapy plans
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols related to pharmacy operations
• Stay current on new medications, medical advances, and best practices in patient care
• Trained to provide NHS Advanced and Enhanced services to all patients.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and pharmacology principles essential for accurate medication management
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
• Proficiency in medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and effectively to patients and healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail for verifying prescriptions, dosages, and patient information
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
• Training in some Private services i.e. Travel Vaccination, Ear Microsuction is desirable.

Pay: £27.00 per hour
