Job Title: Per Diem Pharmacist – Independent Pharmacy (No Corporate Stress)

The Role
We need a reliable relief pharmacist to cover shifts when the PIC is out. The main commitment is one day every other week, plus occasional extra days for vacation or time off, with advance notice whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Perform DUR and resolve clinical and insurance issues
• Counsel patients and answer questions from patients, facilities, and prescribers
• Oversee technicians and daily workflow during your shift
• Maintain compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy and DEA regulations

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Florida pharmacist license
• [1+] years of pharmacy experience (retail, LTC, or closed-door preferred)
• Experience with [Best Rx software] is a plus but not required
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently

Schedule

• Shift hours: [e.g., 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM]
• Additional coverage as needed, scheduled in advance
• Mainly once every other week, could be more depending on what is needed.
